LED ID lanyard with printed acrylic badge as the identification credential showing day and night dual function at an event venue

LED ID Lanyard

An LED ID lanyard is two credentials in one. The custom acrylic badge itself is the identification — printed with your logo, department name, and color coding for daytime recognition. After dark, the same badge lights up — RGB glow, four flash patterns, instant staff visibility. One wearable, two shifts, no switch needed.

The Badge Itself Is the ID

There is no separate card to insert — the custom acrylic badge is the identification credential. Its shape, print, and color carry the identity, readable at a glance in daylight.

🎨

Badge as Credential

The acrylic pendant is printed or engraved with your logo, department name, and role — the badge itself is what identifies the wearer. No card, no insert.

📌

Custom Badge Shape

Badge silhouettes can match your brand or department — GFH-005 cuts any 2D shape from your artwork, making the identity recognizable even from a distance.

🎯

Department Color Coding

Badge or strap color assigned per department — a color system everyone reads instantly without reading text.

🚨

Breakaway Safety Buckle

Releases at 5 kg tension to prevent strangulation hazards, meeting ASTM F2057 standards for wearable credentials.

After Dark, It Becomes a Light

When the sun goes down, the same lanyard switches roles. The badge lights up, making every wearer identifiable in crowds, low light, and outdoor venues.

💡

RGB Glow

7 preset colors on the badge — fixed per department or cycled by the wearer. The glow follows the badge shape, making the printed identity visible in the dark.

🔥

4 Flash Patterns

Slow flash, fast flash, strobe, and fade — each serving a different identification or visibility need.

🔋

8-12 h Battery

User-replaceable CR2032 or AAA. Flashing modes extend runtime — a full night shift is covered by one battery set.

📱

Optional Group Control

RF remote, DMX, or APP transmitters switch colors across all staff at once — department-wide or venue-wide.

Same Lanyard, Two Shifts

Every feature either serves the day function, the night function, or both. Nothing is sacrificed to make the other work.

Department Colors, Day and Night

Assign a color to each team. The strap carries the color in daylight; the LED carries it after dark. The system stays consistent across both shifts.

Security
Red strap by day, red LED by night — instantly identifiable, never ambiguous
Production & Technical
Blue strap + blue LED — stage crew, AV, and rigging teams
Hospitality & Guest Services
Green strap + green LED — ushers, concierge, front-of-house
Medical & First Aid
Yellow strap + slow-flash yellow LED — visible but calm, no urgency
VIP / Media
Purple strap + purple glow — premium tier, distinct from staff colors

Any color set can be configured. Strap color, badge print, and LED color are assigned per department during production — no on-site sorting required.

Built for Workplace Use

An ID credential is worn all day by real people. Safety and compliance are not optional — they are designed into every unit.

🚨

Breakaway Safety Buckle

Every strap includes a breakaway buckle that releases at 5 kg tension — preventing strangulation if the lanyard is caught on equipment, doors, or machinery. Compliant with ASTM F2057 standards for wearable credentials.

🔋

Sealed Electronics

The LED module, battery contacts, and button are sealed in the badge housing. No exposed wiring, no battery contact with skin, moisture-protected to IP4x equivalent — safe for all-day wear.

🏛

Market Certifications

FCC, CE, and RoHS certified as standard, with KC available for Korea. Documentation is provided with every order for customs clearance and venue compliance. Additional certifications supported via technical data package.

🧱

Low-Heat, Low-Power LEDs

Standard surface-mount LEDs run cool — no heat against the chest even after hours of use. Power draw is low enough that the 8-12 h battery covers a full work shift or event night.

Which Model for Your ID Program?

The right model depends on whether the badge shape, the badge print, or the light output matters most to your ID program.

GFH-001

Best Overall

The standard choice for ID programs. Nylon strap with department colors, printed ABS badge as the credential, 8 strap LEDs + 2 badge LEDs. Visible from 100 m at night — the strongest combination of badge identity and light output.

GFH-002

Outdoor

Waterproof TPU strap with a sealed ABS badge. The choice for outdoor venues, festivals, and rain-or-shine operations. 2 badge LEDs keep the identification visible in low light without full strap brightness.

GFH-004

LED ID Lanyard Questions

Is the printed badge still readable when the LED is on? +
Yes. The badge print — logo, department name, role — remains clearly visible when the LED is on. The acrylic models (GFH-004, GFH-005) place the light source behind the badge surface, so the glow backlights the print rather than washing it out. This is what makes the badge work as a credential in both day and night: the same print identifies the wearer, the light adds visibility.
How is the badge used as the identification credential? +
The badge itself is the ID. It is printed or engraved with your logo, department name, and role — so the credential is the wearable, not a card inserted into it. With GFH-005, the badge can even be laser-cut into a custom shape matching your brand, making the identity recognizable at a glance. Department color coding adds a second identification layer that works day and night.
Can I set a different LED color for each department? +
Yes. Each lanyard's LED color can be fixed during production — security red, production blue, hospitality green, and so on. For dynamic control, the GFC005 DMX or GFC008 APP transmitter can reassign colors live during the event by group. Both approaches use the same hardware; the difference is whether the color is locked at production or managed live.
How long does the battery last for a night shift? +
Battery life is 8 to 12 hours of continuous LED use depending on model and mode. A standard night shift (6-8 hours) is covered by one battery set. Flashing modes extend runtime because the LED is off part of each cycle. Batteries are user-replaceable in seconds — spare sets can be issued with the lanyards for multi-shift events.
Is the LED ID lanyard safe for daily workplace wear? +
Yes. The breakaway buckle meets ASTM F2057 release standards. The electronics are sealed (IP4x equivalent) with no exposed wiring. LEDs run cool and low-power. Products are FCC, CE, and RoHS certified. The lanyard is designed for all-day professional wear — from office ID programs to event production sites.
What is the minimum order and lead process? +
200 units is the standard MOQ for customized LED ID lanyards. The process: send quantity, department breakdown, artwork, and LED color assignment → receive a detailed quote within 24 hours → approve a pre-production sample with your exact strap print and badge configuration → bulk production with 100% light testing and DDP delivery.
