Does blinking drain the battery faster than steady glow? +
No — blinking actually extends battery life. Because the LED is off during part of each cycle, slow blink mode can last up to 40% longer than continuous steady glow. Fast blink and strobe have minimal additional draw. Even in continuous blink mode, all models meet their rated runtime specifications.
How many lanyards can one remote control at once? +
There is no practical limit. The GFC004 handheld remote broadcasts on 433MHz RF to every lanyard within 250 meters simultaneously. We have tested over 10,000 units at a single event without any sync degradation. For DMX512 setups, the GFC005 transmitter handles unlimited units within RF range.
Can I turn blinking off if attendees find it distracting? +
Yes. The remote has a dedicated steady-glow button that switches all units back to solid light. Individual users can also tap their lanyard button to cycle back to steady mode. The default power-on state is steady glow, so blinking is always an intentional choice, never forced.
Can I create a custom blink pattern for my event? +
Yes. Using the GFC008 APP transmitter, we program custom blink sequences — tempo, color transitions, duration, and pattern shape. Your custom signature is uploaded to the transmitter before the event. This is popular for brand launches where a unique blink pattern becomes part of the brand identity.
What is the MOQ for custom-branded blinking lanyards? +
